The Fia Ola Weight Loss Challenge has come to an end, celebrating six weeks of movement, healthier habits and connection. Running from 16 February to 3 April, the programme brought together more than 80 of our cherished mamas and papas across five groups, all journeying together towards better health and wellbeing.
The challenge created a supportive space where participants felt motivated not only to improve their physical health but also to build stronger routines and provide support within their Fia Ola groups.
Throughout the programme, participants attended regular group exercise sessions, supported each other to make healthier food choices, and lifted one another up along the way. One of the most inspiring outcomes was seeing many participants take ownership of their health beyond the scheduled sessions.
Fia Ola Coordinators Iakopo and Ainise shared how proud they are of the dedication shown by every participant.
“One of the most rewarding outcomes was seeing participants take initiative by exercising in their own time, rather than waiting solely for the scheduled programme sessions. The commitment and accountability shown by everyone truly reflected the spirit of Fia Ola. We are extremely proud of the hard work, discipline, and positive attitudes demonstrated during this challenge. It has been inspiring to watch everyone support each other and push towards their goals,” Iakopo said.
As the challenge ends, we are pleased to recognise the outstanding achievements of our top participants:
