As one of our newest employees at Pacific Homecare, Shalika quickly won the hearts of our customers due to her amazing service and outstanding effort when working.
With only four months onboard as a Support Worker and already so many compliments from customers, it’s no surprise that she receives requests a lot.
The married mum of two comes from the beautiful island of Fiji and has been living happily in New Zealand for the last thirteen years. With the recent year bringing her a job at Pacific Homecare, Shalika already has found what she enjoys about working here.
“My favourite part about working at Pacific Homecare is meeting all these lovely people on daily basis. Every day is a new experience with each customer. I find this job so rewarding personally”.
With such a positive first impression, Shalika mentioned why she works so hard in her role. “My clients are my inspiration, the feedback I get from them really inspires me to do my best at work”.
With each customer inspiring Shalika to always work to her best, it shows the dedication and love she already has for her role. When asked what three words she uses to describe Pacific Homecare, she said: “rewarding, peaceful and inspiring”.
