Nancy Staples – Support Worker

Our customers always compliment her work ethic and loving nature as a support worker. We are so thankful for how she upholds the values we live by here at Pacific Homecare to serve our customers with Love, Care and Professionalism.

Tell us a little about your background?

I’m from the island of Niue and happily married with two sons.

What sorts of things do you do in your job?

 I do a lot of different things in my job: household management, personal care and transportation.

Tell us about your customers / a normal day in your job?

My customers are older people, and they all have a story to tell. I find older people are fascinating.

What training have you completed at Pacific Homecare?

I have completed basic first aid and a community nutrition course.

What do you like most about working at Pacific Homecare?

The people, food and laughter!

Who inspires you?

Two people that inspire me are the two Mama’s who founded Pacific Homecare.

At the end of your working day, what do you like to do?

I enjoy working out at the gym!

An Air Hostess.

I would be doing work in another health organisation or something in the community.
