The Employee of the Month for March is Support Worker Fuatino Matau. Fuatino has been recognised for her warm, friendly nature and the genuine care she shows to her clients. She takes the time to connect with each person, helping them feel comfortable and at ease, and always brings a positive attitude to her work.
Her professionalism and attention to detail ensure clients are well cared for, while her thoughtful touches help maintain dignity and well-being.
Fuatino is a proud Samoan, a devoted mum of three, and a recently graduated lay preacher (2025). With a strong connection to her family and community, she brings the same dedication to her work at Pacific Homecare. “I love working for PHC because it strongly helps me support my family,” she says.
In her role, Fuatino cares for clients of all ages, backgrounds, and cultures – a part of her work she greatly enjoys. “I love working with people of different ages. It challenges me and has taught me so much about different cultures,” she shares.

Fuatino’s favourite part of working at Pacific Homecare is the support from Human Resources, and she draws inspiration from Director of Homecare Services, Matthew, and Service Coordinator, Samuelu, admiring their respectfulness and the way they treat everyone equally.
When asked to describe Pacific Homecare in three words, Fuatino chose: respectful, care, and love. Values she lives every day in her work.
We’re incredibly proud of Fuatino and the support she provides. Thank you for the amazing work you do!
