Showing the values of love, care, and professionalism is integral to our roles at Pacific Homecare. Staff are often praised by their clients and fellow staff for going above and beyond in their work, which helps to continue the cycle of sharing these beautiful values.
A fellow Support Worker nominated Avinesh Chandra for the September Employee of the Month (EOM), saying, “He is the most hard-working person I have ever worked with. He is willing to do what’s best for the client. He is always on time and focused on what he is doing.” Praised by the Pacific Homecare (PHC) staff for his strong work ethic, time management, and willingness to go above and beyond for his clients, we are happy to have commended such a person as our EOM.
Hailing from Fiji, Support Worker Avinesh describes himself as a caring, loving, and honest person. “I love my job and caring for my clients. Pacific Homecare is a very good organisation to work with”. Here, he mentioned two of his favourite parts about working for Pacific Homecare. One is his role as a Support Worker and having the opportunity to ensure his clients’ well-being is consistently met. The other is his colleagues, whom he enjoys spending time with as they work well as a team.
It’s not every day that you have someone consistently working to make their clients cheerful, and for Avinesh, doing this makes his work days better and our customers happier.
