Since beginning her time as a Support Worker in 2018, Fonzareen has never received any complaints in her work. Customers consistently commended her for her services and commented on her excellent cooking.
Hailing from the Fiji Islands, Fonzareen is a proud mother of two and a grandmother. She appreciates and enjoys her role as a Support Worker greatly. “I’m a Support Worker, and I look after elderly and disabled clients. I really enjoy my daily work and have gained experience. I really thank Louise for giving me a chance in the first place by recruiting me as a Support Worker to work for this company and not forgetting the Coordinator’s communication towards me.”
When asked about her favourite part about working for Pacific Homecare, Fonzareen replied,
“It’s about the daily tasks and meeting new clients with all sorts of tasks. I learn their culture and their moods and make them feel at ease and, yes, talk to them. Make them understand we are there for them and explain what they can’t understand, especially dementia clients. That’s my favourite part about working in this role and for my P.H.D. I thank this company for giving me an opportunity.”
A kind-hearted individual, Fonzareen is always willing to help and never refuses relieving. She is described by staff and customers as a hardworking and easy-going person to work with. With customers speaking so highly of her, it’s no surprise that the inspiration behind her hard work is our customers. “My clients do inspire me a lot. Especially when they welcome me inside their homes.”
What a fantastic addition to our team! Congratulations again, Fonzareen, on being our April Employee of the Month.
