Well, September brings the 1st Day of Spring but it was still a bit cool and wet as we leave the winter months behind.
It was also another very busy month for Pacific Homecare mostly as we completed a full Health Standards Audit, which is important for our national health accreditation for Home & Community Support Services.
Then we moved onto our annual financial audit by the end of the month to ensure we are on a sustainable financial pathway as a Trust.
In between those dates we hosted another Whanau Ora Review Panel workshop with a focus on the South Auckland Whanau Ora providers and families who all contributed to the review expressing what works and what could improve for whanau ora services. So thank you again to the Families and Providers and the Review panel for their contributions.
This month we also celebrated with Silia Kolotau as Employee of the Month, another great story of someone who really cares about her work and the opportunities it provides her to serve her community. She is one of our workers who simply receive so many compliments from our customers.
This month we also hosted the Tongan Language week celebration with our Fia Ola group of Tongan elders on Thursday the 6th September which is really important to celebrate our language and cultures, oh yeah and the food was amazing. Once again keep well and much love always.
