I was born and grew up in India. I was working as a nurse in a specialist hospital, part-time as an operation theatre assistant and part-time on the wards. I am a mother of 2 children and my husband is a lab technician.
We only came to New Zealand in 2012 and for the first year I did not work while settling in. I then came to Pacific Homecare in 2013 as my first job and I have never looked back.
As a Support Worker I assist our clients with a range of tasks including personal care, house hold work and meal preparation.
On a normal day I will complete a combination of the tasks mentioned depending on the client care plan.
Ramanpreet’s Coordinator says she is always efficient, reliable and always willing to take on relieving. Her service to clients is excellent and she always goes above and beyond to help them.

The best part of my job is the happy feeling I get when I see my clients happy. That feeling reassures me that I am doing my job well.
Go home and relax. I worship for 30 minutes then cook for my family.
