Born and raised in the suburb of Glen Innes (G.I), I hail from two small islands in the Cook Islands called Manihiki and Rakahanga. Raised by parents who have strong Christian and cultural values, I have four sisters and four brothers.
I support my clients with personal and household care, supporting them to start off their day nice and fresh, I also support clients with preparing their meals and tidying up around their homes.
A normal day for me with my clients would always starts off with a “hello mama, hello papa how are you?” We talk and they update me about how their day or week has been. Once I have finished my work, we usually sit and have our little chats. Most of our elderly just want someone to talk with and to feel connected, which is one reason why I love what I do, which is to LOVE, CARE and be PROFESSIONAL, great values for caring and looking after our elderly.
Levels 1 and 2 in Elderly and Disability Care, and I will be completing level 3 this year. I have also completed Pacific Pathways and First Aid training.
What I love most about my job is the value of caring and supporting others. Giving back to our elderly as well as assisting, supporting our disability clients, being able to CARE for them and show them LOVE and to always remind them that there is always someone like myself here.
Spend quality time with my family, catching up on some rest or playing netball.
Love my 90s and of course LOVE my island sounds
Ooh where do I start? I have too many favourites, but I can say that I eat a lot of eggs lols.
WORK! I believe I have to sacrifice some fun for hard work to be able to get somewhere in life!

Being a part of a film and traveling to Singapore, Paris and Cuba for a documentary about Robert Louis Stevenson. I was the youngest actress to travel in the film crew, and it was a great childhood memory being able to travel to foreign countries. I don’t even know the name of the documentary, nor have I seen it!
I wanted to be a Silver Fern.
I would probably be doing something similar that helps and supports people« Back
