I was born and raised in Chandigarh, India where I completed high school studies.
I came to New Zealand with my daughter and son in 2011 for the betterment of their future.
From a young age I always had a sense of compassion towards the elderly. I was always drawn towards helping and supporting them in any possible way I could. Working at Pacific Homecare helps me follow my passion in many ways. Even though I had the option to work elsewhere, I would still prefer Pacific Homecare because of the way they treat their employees.
My job includes all sorts of tasks from household work, bathing the customer and kitchen work
My customers are extremely cooporative. I share good working relationship with them. A normal day in my job consists of visiting each customer’s home and doing the work written in my roster which includes a combination of activities from showering, exercising and household work.
I have been to most of the training provided by Pacific Homecare
The best thing about working at Pacific Homecare is the ability to meet unique people every day and make long-term relationships with my customers. I get to learn something new every single day.
My family members inspire me to do well. To pursue my dreams and aspirations
I like to spend some time with my children. Ask them about their day at school and spend some quality time with them.
Italian food e.g. Pizza, Pasta
Currently, I am making my own garden for my hone grown vegetables.
Hindi, Punjabi, and English
Listening to music and watching Bollywood movies.
Spending time with my siblings in India
I always wanted to help and support others. I wanted to become a nurse
I would be working at a factory full time. But I prefer Pacific Homecare as my job over anything.
